Overview
Coming off the back of Transport Committee inquiries into rail franchising, passenger experience, and infrastructure, we’re convening a policy forum where key stakeholders will tackle the big questions surrounding our rail network.

“Rail passengers deserve a more reliable, more efficient service – and I will deliver it by ending the one-size-fits-all approach of franchising and bringing closer together the best of the public and private sector.” The Rt Hon Chris Grayling, Secretary of State for Transport, November 2017

With ongoing issues surrounding the sustainability of franchising, continued delays and cost rises for commuters, spiraling budgets for infrastructure projects, and Labour openly calling for nationalization, a discussion on the future of UK rail is a must attend event. Senior politicians, civil servants, union leaders, businesses, and passenger groups all have a stake in coming together and collaboratively finding a way forward.

This forum follows up from a very successful event we held in 2016 which boasted amongst its line up representatives from the Rail Delivery Group, Unite Union, Rail Alliance and HS2.
